MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES

Three Prospective Periods:

            January – April
May – August
September - December

Prospective Member Requirements:
(These must be completed within one or two prospective periods.)

1. 12 hours of service in any area
2. Attend 2 of 4 general meetings within the prospective period
3. Attend one social
4. Attend an orientation meeting

(Department meetings, general meetings, orientation meeting, and social may be counted toward the 12 service hours, with a maximum of 2 hours per meeting.)

Active Member Requirements:

1. Pay dues on time ($35)
2. Attend six or more business meetings during the calendar year
3. Serve on a committee and department
4. 24 service hours in any area of the club, excluding general business meetings

            In addition, please consider these guidelines:

1. Keep track of your hours of volunteer and club service and turn these in at each meeting.
2. Wear you name tag at all club functions, and your club shirt when appropriate.
3. The Conservation Department asks that each member assist with at least one roadside cleanup per year.
4. Please bring a canned good or non-perishable food item to each general meeting for AGAPE.
5. If you sponsor a new member, please help guide her through her first year.  Attend her installation, remind her of meetings, call to offer her a ride, encourage her to participate in various projects, and introduce her to other members. 

           
Inactive Member Requirements:

• Must have two years of active service to be eligible for inactive status
• Pay dues on time ($45)
• Attend one club function each calendar year
